Genkidama in Concert

Experience the rousing anime cover band Genkidama live at the Anime Messe Babelsberg! The three musicians will be shaking up the large Vulkan Arena on three days of the festival - on Friday at 13:10, on Saturday at 16:10 together with the Harmoonics in the Sailor Moon concert, and on Sunday at 13:10 with another energetic solo concert followed by a signing session. You can look forward to an explosive mix of classic and modern anime hits, presented in an authentic and rocking way - a musical highlight that you shouldn't miss!

Genkidama consists of three talented musicians who bring Japanese songs to the stage faithfully and with rocking fire. Their repertoire ranges from absolute classics such as Pokémon, Dragonball and One Piece to modern genre hits such as Attack on Titan, Chainsaw Man and Jujutsu Kaisen. With great passion and the ability to preserve the emotional depth of the original compositions, they create unforgettable concert experiences for anime and rock fans alike.

Genkidama will be performing live in the Vulkan-Arena on all three days of Anime Messe Babelsberg 2025:

• Friday, 13:10-14:40: Genkidama in Concert - the energetic full concert
• Saturday, 16:10-17:10: Harmoonics - The Sailor Moon concert feat. Genkidama - the Harmoonics get rock band support for an even more intense concert experience
• Sunday, 13:10-14:20: Genkidama in Concert - invite to the final day

There will also be an autograph session after each show! So you can look forward to:

Henne (guitar, vocals, production): Our studied singer and guitarist is living his dream on stage. With emotional J-pop and powerful metal, he picks up every anime fan - no song is safe from him.

Chris (bass): As a trained musician and music teacher who studied at Yokohama National University in Japan, among other places, Chris brings musical ability and a real Japanese feeling to the table.

Satu (drums, backing vocals): Whether on acoustic or electronic drumset - Satu provides a driving rhythm and complements the sound with strong backing vocals.
