With the start of ticket sales for Anime Messe Babelsberg, taking place from 17 to 19 July 2026, we are thrilled to announce that for the very first time in the history of the event, we can kick things off with a huge guest announcement right on day one!
A true legend will take the stage at Anime Messe Babelsberg 2026! We are proud to present none other than Dave Rodgers – the father of Eurobeat and the voice behind unforgettable anime songs such as Deja Vu, Space Boy and Night Fever. His music turned the cult anime Initial D into a worldwide phenomenon and has inspired generations of fans.
Experience him live: at the grand Opening Ceremony and his Indoor Concert on Friday, at the epic Outdoor Concert in the Vulkanarena on Saturday, and at the Community Panel all about Eurobeat & Initial D on Sunday!
The 9th Anime Messe Babelsberg will take place from 17 to 19 July 2026 once again at the beautiful Filmpark Babelsberg in Potsdam. We are happy to announce that the ticket sale starts on 01 October on AnimeTickets.de! As always, there will be a special discount phase at the beginning: until 20 October you can secure your tickets at the lowest price – and with your early purchase you also help us to organise another amazing Animeland for all of us.
For those who prefer to buy their tickets on site: on Saturday, 04 October you can also get them at the AnimeFanShop.de warehouse: Amboßweg 2, 16356 Ahrensfelde near Berlin. There you will save an extra €2 per ticket and also have the chance to help us clear out our warehouse: 30% off all anime merchandise still in stock.
PS: We also have great news about our ticket shop! Thanks to our new partnership with Stripe, you can now use almost all common online payment methods:
This way there should be something for everyone – and especially our international guests will now find it much easier, as PayPal is no longer the only option available.
Today we would like to share with you how things will continue. So far, we had announced the Anime Messe Babelsberg for 17–19 July 2026 (subject to change). Now we have a clear plan for how we will realign ourselves – and for this we need your support.
Summary: Our core problem is time: AnimeFanShop consumes so much of it that event planning suffers. Our solution: we will downsize the shop – possibly close it completely – and launch a temporary warehouse sale, with the proceeds securing the start of the planning phase for Anime Messe Babelsberg 2026. You can help us by coming to the warehouse sale (grab some bargains!) or by supporting us directly with a donation. Together, we will refocus on the events.

From July 4 to 6, 2025, Animeland in Potsdam opens its gates! To ensure your visit is smooth and enjoyable, we've summarised the most important information and tips for you below. You can find the site map and full programme in the official programme booklet [Download].
Box Office Access & E-Ticket Exchange
The box office is located in the car park on Lotte-Loebinger-Straße, accessible via the vehicle entrance. After purchasing your ticket or exchanging it for a wristband, you may enter and exit the event grounds anytime via the main entrance.
Box Office – Buy Tickets On Site
On Friday and Sunday, there will still be plenty of tickets available at the box office.
On Saturday, there will be no box office – this day is sold out.
E-Ticket Wristband Exchange
You can exchange your e-ticket for your festival wristband daily from 8:00 a.m. at the box office in the car park. After that, you may enter and exit freely via the main entrance. Please do not tear off the wristband if you come for several days!
Important Note on Ticket Exchange:
If you want to be ready for the programme start at 10:00 a.m., please arrive at 8:00 a.m. sharp – this is the only way to make it through the ticket exchange and security check on time, especially on Saturday.
Tip: If you have a Saturday ticket, you can collect your wristband already on Friday from 4:00 p.m. – this helps you avoid the Saturday morning rush. Note: We only hand over the wristband in person, as losing it could cause major issues – after all, no one wants to risk missing out on the Anime Messe.
House Rules (Summary)
Full details can be found in the house rules on our website.

There, you can comfortably put on your cosplay on-site.

Con Specials & Crowdfunding Goodies
You can collect your pre-ordered specials and goodies daily from 2:00 p.m. at the box office in the car park.

Accompanying persons
Accompanying persons of individuals with a severe disability and the marker (B) in their ID receive free admission and do not need to purchase a separate ticket. At the box office, simply presenting the ID is sufficient.
Special case: If the person in question is under 11 years of age and therefore does not require a ticket, please note that at least one person must still purchase a regular ticket. In this case, we will charge for a youth ticket.
For reasons of fairness, we charge a youth ticket in this case, as we do not receive government funding and provide this option on a voluntary basis.
Still Have Questions?
