The time has come: advance sales for the anniversary edition of Anime Messe Babelsberg are open! From 22 to 25 July 2027 we celebrate ten years of Animeland at Filmpark Babelsberg, and you can be part of it right now. Until 05.10.2026 you get your tickets at the special start-sale price. That saves you money and helps us put together a truly great event for you. The earlier you buy, the more we can plan.
The first highlight is confirmed: nano with her full band! If you were at the closing ceremony in 2026 you already know, everyone else may cheer now: nano returns to Animeland for the tenth anniversary and once again performs with her full band on our stage. If you missed the announcement, you can watch it again on YouTube. We will reveal more guests of honour and concerts step by step over the coming weeks.
Heads up: we start on Thursday with the birthday show! For our tenth birthday we are adding an extra day. On Thursday 22.07.2027 we open the anniversary weekend with an exclusive birthday concert show in the festival hall. Up to eight artists from ten years of Anime Messe take the stage, we go on a little journey through time together, and the evening closes with a performance you can only see that night. On top, every guest receives an exclusive birthday goodie for 10 years of Anime Messe.
Important: every person needs their own ticket for Thursday, the usual discounts for children and accompanying persons do not apply on this day. The festival hall only holds a small number of people, so tickets are strictly limited. If you want to be there, be quick. The J-Disco is back, of course! On Friday evening the grand ballroom turns into the J-Disco again from 21:00, with beats from Japan and Korea and a light show as always. Anime meets hip-hop! Anime rap returns to Anime Messe Babelsberg, with a real concert highlight in the large Vulkanarena! ENMA, the founder of German anime rap, brings the arena to life together with Kazama, Shinigami and Leashady. Whether it is One Piece, Jujutsu Kaisen, My Hero Academia or Death Note, their tracks will give you goosebumps. Magical academies and enchanting ateliers: Jana Dunja Gries feels right at home in not one but two fantastical worlds! You might know her voice as Iris in "Wistoria: Wand and Sword" and as Riche in "Witch Hat Atelier". At Anime Messe Babelsberg you get to meet the person behind these voices: on Friday she takes part in the anime voice actor panel and gives a signing session afterwards. [More info]
Ever wanted to lend your own voice to an anime character? Then Jermain Meyer's dubbing workshop is just the thing for you! As a voice actor, you can hear him as Bond Forger in "Spy × Family", as Ken Sudou in "Classroom of the Elite" and as Kamui Caim in "Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun". On Saturday he hosts the workshop at Anime Messe Babelsberg, preceded by a free signing session. [More info]
