We say THANK YOU and HELLO Anime Messe Babelsberg 2024

We say THANK YOU and HELLO Anime Messe Babelsberg 2024

Info 01.09.2023 17:44

We hope you all had a fantastic summer and an unforgettable Anime Messe Babelsberg 2023. Together with 20,000 anime fans, show acts, artists, and exhibitors, we were able to create shared memories at Filmpark Babelsberg that give us strength for everyday life. Even though life can sometimes be challenging, we're excited to let you know that we will be opening the gates to Animeland again for three days – from 19th to 21st July 2024. Together, we want to experience a magical time and celebrate with old and new friends.

If you're already ready for it, we'd be delighted if you could purchase your Animeland ticket now. The sooner you buy your tickets, the better we can make Anime Messe Babelsberg for everyone. Use the voucher code ANIMELAND by 12th September to save 10%, or up to approximately 10 euros. [To the Ticket Shop]

However, we also want to inform you that we've had to adjust the ticket prices due to inflation. In 2023, despite selling out Anime Messe, we recorded a loss of over 50,000 euros. For instance, the 28 flights for our Japanese honorary guests each cost at least 500 euros more, causing additional expenses of 14,000 euros. As we don't want to cut back on the programme – for that is the heart of Anime Messe Babelsberg – we find ourselves forced to adjust the prices accordingly.

We hope to see you all from 19th to 21st July 2024 in Animeland, during Anime Messe Babelsberg at the beautiful Filmpark Babelsberg. And if you can't wait until July 2024, we look forward to welcoming you at our sister event, the Anime Festival Kassel, from 27th to 29th October 2023. [To the Anime Festival Kassel]

PS: On 2nd and 16th September, another warehouse sale from AnimeFanShop.de will take place in Ahrensfelde near Berlin. As a small thank you for your visit, you can purchase your ticket there at a slightly reduced price! [To the Warehouse Sale]

Last important information for a great Anime Messe Babelsberg 2023

Last important information for a great Anime Messe Babelsberg 2023

Info 18.07.2023 11:42

Hello, dear Anime friends, soon the gates of the sixth Anime Messe Babelsberg will open in Potsdam. From 21 to 23 July, we'll be celebrating our hobby together at Filmpark Babelsberg. Our volunteer Anime Messe team has once again put all their efforts into preparing a great programme for you. You can find the whole programme in our programme booklet, which you can download now. Of course, a printed version of the programme is also available free of charge at the ticket booth.

[Programme Download - PDF 8MB - Only German]

We ask you to take a look at the programme booklet. It not only contains all the times of our packed programme, but also our house rules so that we can all have a great event. We would like to briefly list the most important points again:

Admission control / E-ticket exchange. This year the Anime Messe Babelsberg is especially popular. Therefore, please plan some time for the admission control and the exchange of your e-tickets. If you want to be at the Anime Messe Babelsberg at 10 am sharp, we recommend using the early opening hours of the box office from 8 am. We expect the biggest rush until 12 o'clock. Of course, you can also come to the Anime Messe later. Please remember to bring proof of age for under 10s or a disabled pass with a B for your accompanying person.

Lost your e-ticket? If you have lost your e-ticket or can no longer find it, don't panic! You can still try to send us an e-mail at info@animetickets.de. Please give us the name, email address or booking code with which you bought your ticket. We will try to respond to all enquiries in a timely manner. If we do not get back to you, please bring proof of payment to the ticket office. We will then resolve this at the problem box office.

Arrival / Parking Due to the ongoing construction work on the new car park for the Filmpark, the car park directly in front of the Filmpark is closed. You can find the alternative car park from the Filmpark via the driveway at Joseph-von-Sternberg-Straße 1, 14482 Potsdam, opposite the yellow depot building. According to our latest information, the parking fee is 4 Euros for the day. We recommend using public transport, e.g. Potsdam's main railway station or the regional train station "Medienstadt Babelsberg", which is 400 metres away.

Box office As already mentioned many times, Saturday is sold out! Tickets can only be bought for Friday or Sunday at the box office. Tickets for Sunday cannot be bought on Friday.

Ban on alcohol and glass bottles We would like to point out that there is a strict ban on alcohol at the Anime Messe Babelsberg. Of course, you are allowed to bring your own food and drinks, but please make sure that you do not bring any glass bottles. In general, the handling of dangerous objects is not allowed at Anime Messe Babelsberg. More information can be found in the house rules in the programme booklet.

Prohibition of dogs and animals As there are a lot of people at the Anime Messe Babelsberg, all animals are prohibited on the premises. Exceptions are service animals like guide dogs.

J-DISCO on Friday evening On Friday evening there will again be the J-DISCO starting at 21:10. We would like to remind you once again that this programme item is unfortunately only reserved for our guests aged 16 and over. This year, ID checks will be carried out in the ticket office tent from 8pm. From 8 p.m. you can pick up your DISCO wristband at the ticket office tent upon presentation of a photo ID with proof of age. We accept ID cards, passports, driving licences and health cards for age checks, but not student ID cards.

Lost property If you find lost property, you can either give it to one of our volunteers in the green crew t-shirts or bring it yourself to the cloakroom tent on the forecourt. Lost property can be collected from the cloakroom tent until 8pm on 23.07.23.

In case of emergency! If you are injured and need help, you will find the German Red Cross behind the cloakroom tent at position [3] on the site plan. If you or someone you know is in urgent need of help, please speak directly to our volunteers in the green crew t-shirts or to the Filmpark staff.

Finally, we would like to wish you all a great weekend in the spirit of anime, manga, cosplay and Japan.
