It is with great pleasure that we can announce the new date for the Anime Messe Babelsberg near Berlin. The next edition of the Fifth Anniversary Anime Messe will take place again at the wonderful Filmpark Babelsberg from 15 to 17 July 2022.
We hope to be able to welcome you in person again and to spend some quality time together with the hobby we all love so much. (ง'̀-'́)ง
Unfortunately, we had to adjust the ticket prices a bit due to the increased prices caused by the pandemic. However, we at Anime Kultur e.V. felt the need not to increase the ticket prices for under 18s any further. Therefore, we are very happy that the prices could remain at a low level. If you already have your ticket and would like to keep it, you will not be affected by the price increase.
If you don't have time on the new date, you have the option of refunding some or all of your tickets, converting them into an AnimeFanShop.de voucher or donating them to Anime Kultur e.V. until 30 June 2021. Otherwise the tickets are automatically valid for 2022. At the same time we will start selling tickets for 2022 for all those who want to support us in organising a great event for anime, manga and cosplay fans in 2022.
We would like to thank everyone who has supported us so far! For this reason we have decided to organise a small but nice online event this year. From 10 to 11 July 2021, the first Anime Messe Digital will take place on the World Wide Web. We invite you to have a great time together with us and would be happy to welcome you on digital.AnimeMesse.de on that day!

Hello dear friends of anime,
We hope you are all doing well in the face of this difficult time for everyone.
However, it is with a heavy heart that we have to inform you today that we will not be able to hold the Anime Messe Babelsberg in the Filmpark near Berlin this year and that the Anime Kultur Verein has decided to postpone the fifth edition of the Anime Messe until summer 2022.
We know that for many people the Anime Messe was a glimmer of hope, especially after this long period of abstinence, to experience something nice again together with your friends in the field of anime, manga and cosplay.
For this reason, we have waited until now and hoped that the situation would improve with the vaccination and various testing strategies so that we could get back to full speed in the summer.
Unfortunately, the virus with its mutations and the slow progress with vaccinations is striking out at us.
Although we hope that the situation will improve in the summer, we have to assume that events for over 1,000 people will still not be able to take place in Berlin & Brandenburg.
Especially as the current lockdown was extended yesterday until 18 April and is therefore very close to the event date.
On this basis, serious planning for this year's Anime Messe Babelsberg is no longer possible.
The Anime Messe stands for an unforgettable entertainment experience for Anime & Manga fans with many great concerts & shows by and with our Japanese as well as regional guests of honour in a beautiful theme park to feel good.
In order to meet the quality and your expectations of the Anime Messe Babelsberg, we are postponing the Anime Messe until summer 2022.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all ticket buyers and supporters! You are AWESOME!!!
It is only because of you that we are one of the lucky events that can still go on after a year of event lockdown.
Because 82% of you kept your tickets and about 3.000 Euros of donations went to the association, which enabled us to mitigate a small part of the financial damage and to keep up the free programme of our webradio AnimeRadio.de for you besides the Anime Messe Babelsberg.
To make sure you don't go away empty-handed this year, we are currently looking into the feasibility of an Anime Messe Digital in the original period from 9 to 11 July 2021.
Ticket refund & new date for Anime Messe Babelsberg:
As last year, we are offering a ticket refund to those who don't know if they can come to the new date next year.
We will let you know the details and the new date of the Anime Messe Babelsberg after a short consultation with the Filmpark on 31 March.
All ticket holders who bought their tickets online will receive an e-mail. If you want to keep your ticket, you don't have to do ANYTHING, just like last year.
The tickets are automatically valid for 2022.

Anime 4 Fun! (ง'̀-'́)ง
The adventure begins! On Saturday, 30 January 2021, we will present the German synchro of Shakugan no Shana in a live stream from 8pm as a premiere for all supporters of the project. If you also want to be present at the synchro premiere, then order the option "Digital Stream Premiere + Nomination in Volume 5" at Preorder. If you are unable to attend on Saturday, don't worry, the stream will be recorded and made available as a VoD download.
You can find the stream at www.shakugan.net/premiere. To log in, you have to enter your eight-digit order number from AnimeTickets.de. To avoid problems on the day of the premiere, you are welcome to test the login in advance. If you have any problems, please contact us in time. You can find our e-mail address in the imprint. The stream will go live at about 7:45 p.m. and at 8 p.m. we will start with the programme.

The adventure begins! Starting on 18 January 2021 on Anime on Demand! AoD exclusively presents the VoD launch of the Japanese version of Shakugan no Shana with German subtitles. After registering on AoD, you can watch the first episode for free. Further episodes will then appear weekly on the video on demand platform.
