Koto, the Japanese instrument

Have you ever heard of the Japanese instrument koto? The koto is a 13-stringed instrument that was already played in Japanese court music and is one of the traditional arts of the imperial court. Mrs Ritsuko Takeyama, a master of traditional Japanese music, will give a lecture on the history and cultural background of this instrument. There will be a rare opportunity to take a look at the instrument and listen to its sounds.
