Are you in search of a unique rarity, or has your wallet become a bit lighter after all that shopping? Then pop by our Bring & Buy! Here, you can find pre-loved anime merchandise at affordable prices. Who knows, perhaps you'll stumble upon some special bargains?

You want to make room in your collection? Whether it's anime, manga, Japan merchandise, or K-pop – at the Bring & Buy, we help you sell your items. Any visitor with a valid ticket can participate.

New: Our digital system
This year, we are using our digital system for the first time. Please register yourself and your items in advance at BringAndBuy.io. This will save you a lot of time on site! Interested visitors can also find all offered products there without logging in.

While we also handle registration on site for last-minute decisions, this is associated with waiting times. If you experience technical issues, please send an email to info@AnimeMesse.de.

• When & Where: Friday to Sunday in the Snapshot Factory. We take complete care of selling your items. You do not have to sell them yourself.
• Sales times:
  • Friday: 10:00 - 21:00
  • Saturday: 10:00 - 22:00
  • Sunday: 10:00 - 16:00
• Item Drop-off:
  The drop-off takes place at the visitor cloakroom in the parking garage. Please note: Drop-off outside these times cannot be guaranteed.
  • Friday: 08:00 - 12:00 & 14:00 - 16:00
  • Saturday: 08:00 - 12:00
  • Sunday: 09:30 - 11:00

  

• Settlement & Pick-up: Please pick up your unsold items and your money directly at the booth in the Snapshot Factory by the following times. An ID card is required.
  • Friday: until 20:30
  • Saturday: until 21:30
  • Sunday: until 17:30
• Pricing: The price can be freely chosen in 0.50 € increments. Prices cannot be changed after drop-off.
• Commission: Anime Messe Babelsberg receives a 10% commission from the sales price.
• Permitted items: Only items related to anime, manga, cosplay, Japan, Korea, and games may be offered.
• Prohibited items:
  • No defective items or fakes (bootlegs).
  • No items specifically produced (e.g., 3D prints) for sale at the event.
  • No lucky bags / blind boxes / gacha (exception: the item is clearly recognizable).
  • No food.
  • No boosters (neither originally packaged nor self-assembled), unless all cards are visible.
  • Identical items may not be sold multiple times by one person (exception: gacha items).
  We reserve the right to refuse items without giving reasons.
• Trading cards:
  • Individual trading cards must be registered individually (limited to 30 pieces per person).
  • Cards in a binder can only be sold as a complete package for a single price (no tally sheets).
• IMPORTANT - Donation policy: Items and proceeds that are not picked up by Sunday 17:30 will be considered a donation.
• Liability: No liability is assumed for theft or damage to the items. By registering and dropping off your items, you agree to these rules.

Packaging Instructions

• Principle: Multi-part items must be packaged in such a way that they cannot fall apart. Figures must be packaged so that no small parts are lost.
• Packaging material:
  • Please use clear gift wrap/cellophane or zip bags.
  • Prohibited: No cling film / plastic wrap (sticks together / labels peel off).
  • Prohibited: Yarn/wool bands alone are not sufficient for manga.
• Manga & Books: Wrap manga series in clear gift wrap and tape the foil securely so nothing slips out.
• Small items (charms, pins): It is best to pack these in small, transparent zip bags.
• Labeling & Barcodes:
  • Every item must be labeled with the item number provided by the system and the price.
  • It is best to use masking tape for labeling.
  • After registration, you will receive a PDF with barcodes. These speed up the drop-off on site enormously.
• Pro tip for barcodes:
  For fragile items (figure boxes, manga covers, DVD cases), first stick a piece of masking tape on the item and place the barcode sticker on top of it. This allows it to be removed later without leaving any residue and prevents damage to the item.
• Preparation: Please pack your items at home. We do have materials on site, but supplies are limited and it will cost you valuable time at the convention.
