You might know her voice as Iris in "Wistoria: Wand and Sword" and as Riche in "Witch Hat Atelier". At Anime Messe Babelsberg you get to meet the person behind these voices: on Friday she takes part in the anime voice actor panel and gives a signing session afterwards.
As a self-proclaimed "professional daydreamer", Jana Dunja Gries wears several hats at once: she not only stands in front of the microphone as a voice actress, but also contributes to German dubs as a dialogue book author, and she is part of the pen-and-paper group "Tales off the Script".
In front of the microphone, she feels especially at home in fantastical worlds. Right now you can hear her as Iris Churchill at the magic academy of "Wistoria: Wand and Sword" and as Riche, one of the young witch apprentices from "Witch Hat Atelier". Another fan favourite is the adorable companion Emul from the game world of "Shangri-La Frontier".
