HeyHo to all anime and manga fans! After a few delays we are now back with the start of the advance sale for the next Anime Messe from July 09th to 11th 2021 at Filmpark Babelsberg near Berlin.
As part of the new planning for the coming year, we have decided to change the name of the event and adapt it to the new venue in Potsdam - Babelsberg. From now on, our full name will continue to be "Anime Messe Babelsberg", abbreviated AMB, and we will take place as usual in the beautiful Filmpark Babelsberg. The original plan was to celebrate the fifth anniversary under the old name, but as we all know, what is not, can only get better! \(^_^)/
We are still overwhelmed that so many have stood by us and still have their tickets. We are very grateful for this strong support from you. As we do not want to just take, we have adapted our existing crowdfunding system. From now on you will receive guaranteed different and exclusive rewards for your support. Crowdfunding supporters and donors from this year will be automatically booked into the new crowdfunding system. If you would like to be part of the crowdfunding, then simply enter the desired amount when ordering tickets on AnimeTickets. (Also possible if you already have a ticket).
We are not yet able to make any firm statements regarding possible corona measures during the 2021 fair. Based on the experience gained this summer, we do not expect any major restrictions in the course of the Anime Messe 2021. Depending on the development of the situation, there will be a mouth-nose protection and a spacing requirement. Due to the possibility of many programme items also taking place in the open air (e.g. the covered open-air stage in the volcano), we are able to hold a nice and safe event for everyone with an agreed hygiene concept. We will always keep you informed about the current situation on our website and as a pre-order by e-mail.
