On Friday, 17 July 2026, together with Studio MAHO FILM we invite you to the anime premiere of "The World's Strongest Rearguard" at the Anime Messe Babelsberg 2026. The premiere takes place at 16:50 in the grand hall of the Metropolis Halle at Filmpark Babelsberg near Berlin. At the centre of the story is Arihito, a corporate worker whose life is brought to an abrupt end by a serious accident. Instead of an ending, however, a new beginning awaits him in a strange world: the Labyrinth Country. Arihito awakens there with an unusual calling, the so-called "Rearguard". This rare support class combines attack, defence and healing in a single role, and it quickly proves indispensable in the world of dungeons. By his side, he gradually gathers a mysterious demi-human mercenary girl, his former superior from his old life, and a colourful band of further companions. Together, they climb the ranks of the Labyrinth Country.
