From the team behind "Hanaori-san Still Wants to Fight in the Next Life", we are also delighted to welcome the LIDENFILMS producer Yuya Ogisu to Anime Messe Babelsberg 2026. Together with director Hideyo Yamamoto and producer Haruka Yabu, he will talk about how the series came together on Saturday 18 July 2026, after the premiere in the great hall.
Behind every series there is someone holding the many threads together, and on the LIDENFILMS side of "Hanaori-san Still Wants to Fight in the Next Life" that someone is Yuya Ogisu. Born in Gifu prefecture in 1993, he joined LIDENFILMS in 2016 and gained his first experience as a production assistant on the feature film "Monster Strike The Movie: To The Place of Beginnings".
These days he works as a producer, a role in which he has overseen titles including "The Yokai Next Door" and "Call of the Night Season 2". There is one detail that does not fit the usual picture of a desk-bound producer at all: Ogisu is still an active track and field athlete and continues to compete. So if you have ever wondered how someone balances production schedules with training sessions, Potsdam is the place to ask.
