Hello dear anime friends and everyone involved in the Anime Messe Babelsberg 2022. Unfortunately, a fatal error has come to our attention in recent weeks. There is still a rumour going around that the Anime Messe Babelsberg has been cancelled this year... However, this was never the case!

The Anime Messe Babelsberg will take place as usual from 15 to 17 July 2022 in the beautiful Filmpark Babelsberg near Berlin!

As you learned from the press and later from our website, it was only a matter of the Metropolis-Hall not being available to us this year because it was needed as emergency accommodation. However, together with the Filmpark crew we have done everything possible to replace the space completely. For example, a 2,100 m² mobile hall will be erected next to the entrance for the exhibitors and the programme items will take place all day in the Vulkan Arena with 2,500 seats, in the Prinz Eisenherz event hall, in the TV studio and the entire Filmpark Babelsberg. So there is an area of more than 12,000 m² available for the Anime Messe this year. Let's use it together to spend a great weekend under the sign of anime and manga \(^_^)/

In order to dispel the misconception of a cancelled Anime Messe on the internet, we ask you to spread the word that Anime Messe Babelsberg 2022 will take place as usual from 15 to 17 July. It would be very unfortunate that after two years of forced break because of a mistake nobody will come ;(
