We are delighted to announce that our friends from the Japanese animation studio MAHO FILM will once again make the long journey to Potsdam for the Anime Messe Babelsberg 2026, bringing a brand new title with them.

On Friday, 17 July 2026, at 16:50 we shall celebrate the anime premiere of "The World's Strongest Rearguard" in the grand hall of the Metropolis Halle at Filmpark Babelsberg. Together with the animators Ms Yuko Oba and Ms Manami Inose, we shall watch the latest episode before anyone else and chat about how the series came to be. An autograph session will follow afterwards.

"The World's Strongest Rearguard" tells the story of the corporate worker Arihito, who, after an accident, is reincarnated into the Labyrinth Country and there takes on the unusual role of a "Rearguard", a support class that combines attack, defence and healing in one. A story about bonds, trust and the strength that comes from supporting others.
